Head of State assures the destiny of the country is the popular victory of 2024

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the announcement of his candidacy by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) for the presidential election on July 28, assured that in the country “there is only one destiny; The popular victory of this 2024”.

The now absolute candidate of the PSUV, Nicolás Maduro, recalled some of the activities they have carried out throughout the country in recent weeks, spaces that overflowed with the presence of the Venezuelan and revolutionary people: “This is to continue building the future, the good future,” he said.

Likewise, the head of state thanked the words of each of the people who preceded him in speaking: “I want to thank the firm, always loyal words of our brother, Adán Chávez Frías; the hurricane words, full of love and tears of governor Alejandro Terán; the words full of poetry, much joy and strength from Grecia Colmenares; and I want to thank the words that came from Boconó, from this 16-year-old girl, president of the Venezuelan Federation of Secondary Education Students, Michelle Delgado. Count on my love and eternal protection (…) I also want to thank the generous, beautiful writing of a communicator, Carola Chávez.”

Regarding the announcement of his candidacy, proclaimed by the PSUV, Maduro revealed that there were 257,215 street assemblies that determined this decision, and applauded that the processes in the party structures continue under impeccable guidance, as determined Commander Chávez, even for the Quinta República (Fifth Republic) Movement. “I believe that the United Socialist Party of Venezuela has made an exemplary method of the process to make this decision, and they disseminate these numbers little.”

For his part, the vice president of the PSUV, reported that a total of 4,240,032 party members nominated Nicolás Maduro.

Likewise, the head of state recalled each of the adversities that have occurred in Venezuela, such as the guarimbas (riots), Covid-19, the sanctions, the economic war, and the ego the surnames possess for destroying and spoiling everything that the Bolivarian Revolution has done for the people: “You decided that I should continue with this battle and I assumed it, I accepted it. But this is not a man’s problem, a man alone is nobody, we are a family, Chavismo is a family full of love for the country,” he said.
