The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, urged the economic team to give maximum effort to increase oil revenues, mining, tourism, non-traditional exports and all productive alternatives that generate wealth that make the country’s economy sustainable:
“It is key to increase production and release the oil income from the parasitism in which the clan of corrupt and traitorous bandits that were at the front of PDVSA left it, this is an order”, he said in a broadcast by VTV.
The National President reported that a new formula has been created to favor the growth of foreign investment in oil production, respecting the Constitution, the Hydrocarbons Law and the revolutionary model:
“We must increase the production of gold, of all minerals and income from non-traditional exports, tourism, Petro, to guarantee the riches in foreign currencies that the economic recovery program requires”, he said.
He reported that in the coming days he will explain to the people the functioning of the new exchange, tax and tax system, while stressing that the economic recovery program will benefit the people, workers and entrepreneurs.
He stressed the need to transcend the oil and rentier economic model to overcome the economic war that seeks to surrender an entire country.
