Delcy Rodríguez repudiates media silence before the US confession of executing a coup against Venezuela

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, repudiated this Wednesday the silence of the international media, before the confession made by the United States government of being behind the attempted coup d’etat against the country:

“The communication corporations shut down on what in the world would be a scandal: the high and clear confession of the coup d’etat organized by the United States against Venezuela, its failed plans for destabilization, frustrated assassination, the imposition of a criminal as a false President”, wrote the Executive Vice President in her account on the Twitter social network.

The publication was accompanied by a video, where Senator Chris Murphy, who accused Elliot Abrams – “US special envoy” to Venezuela -, of “not succeeding” in the country on achieving a “change of government” in the South American nation; as well as he acknowledged the participation of the North American country in the attempted coup d’état, carried out in April 2019; headed by the self-proclaimed “president in charge”, Juan Guaidó.

“We tried to build some kind of a coup in April last year that exploded in our faces when all the generals who were supposed to break their relationship with (Nicolás) Maduro (president of Venezuela), decided to stay with him in the end”, expressed Murphy during a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States Senate.

Likewise, during his participation, he acknowledged the participation of the United States in the events registered on the Colombian-Venezuelan border in February last year, where an attempt was made to intervene in the country, under an alleged humanitarian aid.
