The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced on Wednesday that will be exonerated all taxes for a year for people who bring to the country capital goods, raw materials, supplies and agricultural inputs.
“I am going to sign the decree to proceed to exempt from taxes and charges to the import and all capital goods, raw materials and inputs and agricultural inputs, spare parts, machinery and equipment, manufactured products according to the tariff codes that must be issued in the respective ministries and tax institutions of the country”.
The decree was signed during a joint radio and television broadcast where the Head of State made announcements on economics.
The President emphasized that taxes will be exonerated for one year to all importers in the country, and this must be published in the Official Gazette immediately.
