Russia and Venezuela reviewed cooperation relations

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Russian Federation, this Tuesday, March 30, 2021, reviewed the brotherhood relations between both nations, during a meeting held by the high-level Intergovernmental Commission Russia-Venezuela (CIAN).

Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and CIAN co-president Yuri Ivanovich evaluated the cooperation mechanisms that Russia and Venezuela maintain in the fight against Covid-19, through which Venezuela has already received three shipments of the Sputnik V vaccine.

In addition, they discussed the aspects of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, to promote programs, plans and social projects that guarantee the well-being of the peoples of both countries and advance in the construction of a pluripolar world.

During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of PDVSA La Estancia in Caracas, Russia supported the efforts of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to apply an independent foreign policy that counteracts the US government’s pretenses to violate independence.
