Starting on May 1, when is celebrated the International Workers Day, the National Government will initiate a plan to establish worker’s directive boards in State enterprises, as announced on Monday Nicolas Maduro , Head of State.
In an act of the Homeland Congress, held in Propatria, Caracas, the President stated that the decision will serve to underpin a productive plan, in addition to shield the country from the privatization of these companies, just as the opposition plans -he said-.
«We must have a State productive sector, public, socialist -in all its scales-, conscious, well run, leading by the example,» said President Maduro.
He said the move was consulted with the Executive Vice President, Aristobulo Isturiz and the Political High Command of the Revolution.
He talked about the need to «shake» the parasitism, corruption and wasteful theft within the State’s institutions.
