More than 90 international companions will arrive in the country this Wednesday

On Wednesday, more than 90 international supporters will arrive in the country, including representatives of electoral bodies, electoral experts, parliamentarians, social leaders, academics and journalists from around the world, who will accompany the electoral process on May 20.

The journalist and president of the Radio Nacional de Venezuela Network, Isbemar Jiménez, during the “Via Alterna” (Alternate Way) program which she leads on the signal of RNV Informative channel, highlighted the participation of electoral missions from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), the African Community and the Caribbean Community (Caricom).

The Electoral Central of the Russian Federation will send a technical-electoral delegation to accompany the election day as a result of the cooperation agreement signed in recent days with the Venezuelan Electoral Power, she said.

The journalist also referred to the participation of 14 of the 19 organizations with political ends registered before the National Electoral Council (CNE) in the electoral consultation on Sunday, a process that also has the endorsement of the set of audits carried out on the electoral system.

For Sunday, May 20, have been summoned 20,526,978 citizens to elect the President of the Republic and 18,919,364 to elect their representatives to the State Legislative Councils.

Jiménez exhorted the population to vote, recalling that once again “we have the possibility to demonstrate politically and decide which is the country model that we want (…) We have the opportunity to exercise our right to vote under extraordinary conditions”.
