Maduro: Venezuela ratified its commitment against interventionism

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured on Friday that the celebration of independence, which has been consolidated in a civil-military union from the Bolivarian Revolution, led by Hugo Chavez, has reaffirmed the sovereign status of the country.

In his opinion, the civic-military union is on alert against the systematic attacks orchestrated by the US empire, as well as to ratify the State’s commitment to defeat the interventionist maneuvers against the people.

This was indicated from his account on the Twitter social network, after performing the ceremonial events on Thursday, July 5, on the occasion of the 207 years of the signing of the Act of Independence.

“The Independence of Venezuela has been celebrated by all generations, some at war and others under the torture of neocolonialism. Our generation, thanks to Chávez, commemorates the historical deed with the free Homeland and in a Civic Military Union”.

“This July 5 is a day of commitment to swear by heart, just as a year ago we managed to defeat the attempt of a civil war, we will defeat with the law those who steal the tranquility of the people with the criminal economic war”.
