Everything ready to start with production of tractors in Venezuela

The anti-blockade law has made possible to establish strategic alliances with the private sector, without compromising the assets of the State, as indicated by the Minister for Industries and National Production, José Biomorgi, during the “Vía Alterna” (Alternate Way) program, hosted by journalist Isbemar Jiménez through the Radio Nacional de Venezuela network.

The head of the Industries portfolio clarified that alliances with the private sector do not obey privatization criteria, as has been tried to impose through opinion matrixes, but rather a State policy that seeks to strengthen the country’s productive sector, without compromising the assets of the Republic, without weakening our companies.

Biomorgi indicated that 2021 was a historic year that allowed the promotion of our production in various sectors, taking advantage of the installed capacity in the areas of cement, plastic, glass and basic industries such as steel.

He noted that are being implemented open-air markets for products such as cement, so that the people can directly benefit from this important input at affordable prices: “We are always thinking of the people, of these experiences that directly benefit the communities.”

The minister stressed that the Venezuelan working class managed to boost the country’s productive capacity with its ingenuity and creativity, generating new technologies, substituting raw materials; actions that made it possible to break the dependency with a foreign industrial model subject to the dictates of the United States and Europe: “The working class managed to overcome the blockade, what has been achieved in 2021 has been impressive. We are in an era of rebirth of our productive system because we began to invent, to innovate, to start our industry without that dependency that we had from the US and Europe”.

The representative of Industries and National Production highlighted that it is planned for the first quarter of 2022 to start a recovery process in the automotive sector, thinking about what is most sensitive for the people and complying with an instruction from President Nicolás Maduro, with the reactivation of the Santa Inés Industrial Complex, in Barinas:

This complex has three companies, one for tractors, another for trucks and one for machinery, with the production of pumps and power plants. We already have the strategy to reactivate the tractor industry, with our brothers from Belarus; then that of trucks, a whole strategy tied to the plans of the State”, he assured.
