President Nicolás Maduro reiterates his commitment to FAO to guarantee nourishment

President Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Saturday his commitment to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, FAO, to guarantee nourishment and “to contribute to the eradication of hunger in the world”:

Within the framework of World Food Day, he added that Venezuela has managed to overcome “the hardest difficulties, producing food for the people with love and effort of its own,” and assured that his Government will “consolidate the productive model to meet the needs of needs of families”.

Currently, a mission of the World Food Program, WFP, is still deployed in Venezuela, which plans to feed 185,000 children by the end of this year and, through a “gradual expansion”, will seek to meet an estimated goal of 1.5 million students daily at the end of the 2022 and 2023 school years.
