FANB reaffirms rejection of unilateral actions against the Venezuelan people

The members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) reject the unilateral actions that are intended to be imposed on Venezuela from instances such as the European Union (EU), said on Thursday the Minister of People’s Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino.

“There is a deep indignation in the FANB for these pretensions (of issuing) sanctions against the people,” he said during a journey of Mission Negro Primero, held in Fort Tiuna, Caracas.

The head of the Ministry of Defense, said that: “the sanctions imposed by the European Union on our country today, are a discriminatory act whose sole objective is to defeat a legitimate and constitutional government, the President of the Boivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro”.

On the other hand indicated that more than a thousand men are deployed on the border, under Operation Sierra in order to neutralize the mafias that intend to install illicit crops in the country.
