President Maduro calls to study Hugo Chávez’s thought to consolidate People’s Power

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ordered on Wednesday to promote a process of revision and resume of the orientations and goals, legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, for the construction of the communal power and the popular bases of the country.

For this task he appointed Vice President for Territorial Socialism, Manuel Quevedo, urging to devise with representatives of the communes a program of studies of the strategic lines of thought of Commander Chávez embodied in the Blue Book, in order to consolidate the People’s Power.

During a meeting with members of the communes, communal councils and Local Committees for Supply and Production (CLAP), in a joint radio and television broadcast, the National Leader exhorted to engage and relate to the fundamental concepts embodied by the Commander in his book, to achieve a real plan of expansion of the People’s Power.

“If you combine the study of the Blue Book, if you marry the prophetic foundational concepts of the Blue Book, if you take the orders left by Commander Chávez by hand in the Homeland Plan, and if you are able to review the force that we have built can have in a short time a real and true plan, of expansion of all the forces of the popular bases, of the popular power, of the productive communes”, he emphasized.
