Magdely Valbuena is appointed as Governor of Zulia state

The Parliamentary Bloc of Zulia state announced the appointment as Governor in charge of the entity to the president of the Regional Legislative Council, Magdely Valbuena, said Assemblyman Adelis Nava.

“The deputies of the Homeland Bloc requested the declaration of the absolute vacancy due to the refusal of the governor-elect, Juan Pablo Guanipa, to sworn before the National Constituent Assembly, an instance that called for regional elections. He knew that these elections were convened by the Constituent Assembly and therefore should have fulfilled the fundamental requirement, which was the oath before the ANC, and then before the Zulian parliament”, he explained.

Likewise, the Zulian parliamentarian reported that it is expected that the governor-in-charge Magdely Valbuena will be sworn in by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) on Friday.

On the other hand, Nava called to be alert to the town on the violent reactions that can be presented in the region by Juan Pablo Guanipa, Primero Justicia and Voluntad Popular parties.
