Enacted April 18 as nonworking day for energy savings


The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro declared Monday, April 18 as a non-working day, to contribute to energy saving given the ravages of the “El Niño” phenomena.
He also announced that in the coming days will make a change to the time zone of Venezuela, which will take effect from May 1. “This is part of the sum of actions to overcome this situation.” he said
The President also defended his measure of suspending work activities in public bodies on Fridays for 60 days.
