AN creates two work units in defense of the Venezuelan Essequibo

The Special Commission for the Defense of the Territory of Guayana Esequiba and the Territorial Sovereignty of the National Assembly (AN), created two work units, whose fundamental objectives are to contribute to the protection of the territory in dispute with Guyana.

This was reported, from the Federal Legislative Palace, by the president of the commission, deputy Hermann Escarrá, who explained that one of these units is “Evidence and argument on the Paris Arbitration Award of 1899, and Guyana’s unilateral claim,” which will delve into the investigations, and will prepare a proposal for a reply and counter-reply from the Venezuelan State.

This team will be coordinated by the advisor, Eladio Jiménez Rattia, and the sub-coordination will be in charge of Eduardo Escarrá Muñoz and Julio Peña; In addition, it will have another 30 members, including professionals, technicians and advisors.
