ANC rejects interventionist actions promoted by the Europarliament

The President of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Delcy Rodríguez, denounced on Tuesday the new interventionist intentions of the Euro-Parliament, a body that intends to apply sanctions against Venezuela.

“A 3% of the European Parliament intended to pass a resolution promoting the application of sanctions against the Government and people of Venezuela, in absolute disowning of the international laws, replicating the unilateral measures of the US Government from Europe”, said Rodriguez from the Protocolar Hemicycle of the Federal Legislative Palace.

She said that this attempt is a product of the international lobby that have been made by some leaders of the Venezuelan opposition, who seek to continue attacking the people of Venezuela by imposing imperial blockades to affect its socioeconomic system, and seek the financial blockade that affect the purchase of medicines and food for the Venezuelans.

“From this plenipotentiary and sovereign ANC, we reject all attempts to intervene against Venezuela, we repudiate all actions to attack our Homeland aimed at an intervention”, she emphasized.

She also called on Europe to reflect on its relationship with Latin America and the Caribbean, but specifically with Venezuela, while expressing the support of this Plenipotentiary Organization to all the actions of President Nicolás Maduro in order to seek relations of international respect.
