President Maduro urges to accelerate vaccination plan to guarantee the start of face-to-face classes in October

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, urged this Thursday to accelerate the vaccination plan and guarantee the best conditions to start face-to-face classes in October.

This was indicated by him during the Productive Thursday Conference held from the Sol del Peru Hall of Miraflores Palace.

The national president said that in the month of October face-to-face classes should start, therefore vaccination should be increased in the second half of August, September and October:

If we manage to maintain control of Covid-19 and the Delta variant, which has already been detected in Los Valles del Tuy and La Guaira, this variant is not (present) at a massive level yet but it is already in the country, we must accelerate the vaccination plan and guarantee the best conditions to go to classes. I am convinced that in October there will be face-to-face classes, for the quality of education”, he said.

By offering greetings to the participants in the American and Caribbean Youth Conference on International Youth Day, he instructed them to “break with the empires of the World. I always tell young people that they must be joy, creativity and innovation, do not let old dogmas get in, renew political projects and doctrines. Great changes in Latin America and the Caribbean will come in history in our beloved continent”.
