President Maduro held bilateral meeting with counterpart from Kazakhstan

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, met this Sunday with his counterpart of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in order to assess the advances in bilateral relations between these countries.

Both are participating in the summit of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Astana, Kazakh capital.

Maduro attends this meeting as president of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (NAM). On behalf of this group, the Venezuelan Head of State expressed his commitment to advance towards justice and peace, especially in areas such as the use of technology and innovation in favor of the peoples.

In addition to his counterpart from Kazakhstan, the Venezuelan dignitary also met with his counterparts from Iran, Hasan Rouhani, and from Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who are attending the summit.
