The Permanent Commission for Comprehensive Social Development of the National Assembly (AN) formed this Wednesday the teams that will prepare the law bills that derive from the Organic Law of Labor, Workers and Workers (LOTTT), as reported its president, Pedro Infante:
“We have appointed a team that will be in charge of preparing the respective law bills so that they can be debated in street social parliamentarism together with the working people, together with each labor subsector and so later they can be submitted to the AN”, he specified with a publication on the Twitter social network.
Infante pointed out that previously they started the work agenda that contemplates working on the 10 special laws that derive from the LOTTT.
In the ordinary AN session of this Tuesday, the president of the National Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, urged these laws to be discussed immediately and that they be approved before the end of the parliamentary term in July.
Rodríguez recalled that the Organic Law of Labor, Working men and women (LOTTT) came to claim the just struggle of the working class.
Last Sunday, May 1, the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro requested the AN to discuss these laws in order to strengthen the protection of workers within a year.
Among the legal instruments ordered by the LOTTT, the following stand out: work in agriculture, transportation, maritime, river and lake navigation, household chores, air transport and culture.
On April 30, 2012, Commander Hugo Chávez signed the LOTTT in a historic act that vindicated men and women in the labor field.
