The lawyer and constituent-elect, Isaís Rodríguez, explained that the benefit of the in-house imprisonment was withdrawn to Leopoldo López and Antonio Ledezma, due to the breach of the conditions with which such measure was granted.
“When any of the conditions with which the benefit is granted is violated, it originates that the person is restored to his or her original imprisonment site”, said Rodriguez during an exclusive contact with Radio Nacional de Venezuela.
The lawyer said that there is information on that both López and Ledezma received international calls, especially from US officials, which represents a violation of the conditions of the benefit of in-house imprisonment.
Finally, he asserted that what happens in the cases of Lopez and Ledezma is absolutely normal within Venezuelan law.
