Constituent Assembly will put an end to violence and open the way to national understanding

The candidate for the National Constituent Assembly, Delcy Rodríguez, said this Sunday that the Constituent Assembly “is the only immediate way for Venezuelans to overcome expressions of violence, hatred and intolerance,”

During her participation in the “José Vicente Hoy” (José Vicente Today) program, broadcast by Televen, Rodríguez said: “The Constituent Assembly is a collective meeting of understanding, where our main instrument is not violence or bullets, but the battle of ideas, of confrontation through Dialogue, but for an understanding, to reach a great collective agreement in the exercise of sovereignty in Venezuela”.

She affirmed that one of the tools that will open the way to this understanding is the new spirituality, proposed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, since, in her opinion, it will guarantee “the overcoming of the hatred and the recognition of the other from diversity and political plurality”.

She also rejected the threats from opposition sectors, saying that they will not allow the people to vote on July 30, seeking to “bar the right to vote and disrupt the democratic exercise”.

“On July 30, when we Venezuelans come out to vote, we will mark a new milestone, defeating this stateless opposition class”, said Delcy Rodriguez.
