Shortages and queues have a political direction

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Aristobulo Isturiz, said the shortages, queues and hunger induced in the Venezuelan population have a political directionality, “generated by the enemies of the people”.
“It’s a line of the empire, which says that if they control the foods, they control the people, because with queues, empty shelves, a media campaign, they make the people bother and put it against the Revolution”, he explained.
During the Homeland Congress, chapter of the Urban Agriculture, said that today is a moment of resistance which requires the mobilization of revolutionaries in the streets, but especially a lot of awareness to defend the socialist political project.
” Through the food they can direct the people. They put us to make queues, they hid the food from us, they exploited the distribution we had”, he said.
He recalled that Venezuela, in addition to the induced scarcity, is suffering from a fictitious inflation rate at 70%, “With a policy directionality in order to hit our currency”.
