PSUV will be mobilized throughout the country to explain the bases of the ANC

The first Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, questioned the position of the right-wing parties regarding the convening of the National Constituent Assembly.

“They wanted elections, they will have elections to the Constituent Assembly, of Governors and Legislatures on December 10,” he said during the peace rally in Anzoategui state.

Cabello reported that the leadership of PSUV begins a journey of mobilization throughout the country to explain the bases of the National Constituent Assembly.

He affirmed that Constituent is the real and certain possibility of playing peace instead of playing war, to reach out to those who reject the Bolivarian revolution.

In his speech, Cabello endorsed the constitutional process led by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, while challenging the resounding rejection of the right wing to the Constituent Assembly. “If they reject it, it’s because it must have something good for the people”, he said.

He expressed that the Constituent Assembly is not useful for the opposition, because “this is not the way for them to be able to privatize PDVSA, health or education. They want a coup d’etat and to suspend the (constitutional) guarantees, because that is the plan that imperialism gives them. “
