Head of State ratified willingness to establish relations of respect with the US


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed on Monday his commitment to establish relations based on mutual respect with the new Government of the United States (US), which will begin next January 20 with the inauguration of Donald Trump as the new President of the North American nation.

«Venezuela ratifies its historic desire since (Simon) Bolivar to have relations of respect, communication and cooperation with the United States of America,» said the Head of State from Miraflores Palace in Caracas.

He pointed out his expectations regarding the behavior of the newly elected president, Donald John Trump, who said that are expected changes in global geopolitics.

In his opinion, a new era of peace is coming and Venezuela is well located at this moment and in the right time.
