Public Ministry pledged to work to combat kidnapping

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, on Thursday expressed his commitment to fight the scourge of kidnapping throughout the national territory, as well as support to other public powers to exercise functions in a joint manner.

“We are going to demonstrate to the country that the institutions in issues of great impact we have a permanent cooperation, to work together to give the country the confidence in the combat of one of the most frightening crimes in humanity”, he said.

During the launch of the National Anti-Kidnapping Plan the Prosecutor added that the signing and compliance of the Manual will execute 25 protocols in the various judicial processes.

“We have the role of reaching the truth, the determination to do justice, that the people know that we will work together to restore peace to the citizens”, said Saab.

He was also very positive and stressed that the new mechanisms will give confidence to the Venezuelan people.

He indicated that the staff of the Public Prosecutor’s Office is in command of the various institutions for the national fight against kidnapping and murder.
