Official Report: More than 44,200 people have received care at health centers

According to a report presented by the President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, was informed that until now 44,298 patients have been treated at health centers, moreover, there is a total of 16,740 people injured following the seismic event, while 6,462 people were rescued in the affected areas.

Rodríguez also made known that 128,324 families received assistance from the National Government. He further highlighted the distribution of 10,964,199 tons of food and 44,557,208 liters of drinking water.

Likewise, the report notes that a total of 107 temporary camps installed across the country are housing 23,335 people, while there are registered 17,907 affected people.

To date, 30,989 officers and 31,745 volunteers are deployed, along with 2,278 international rescue workers. Likewise, are accounted 856 affected buildings and 190 collapsed structures.

At the official report was known the register of 1,463 aftershocks so far, and was confirmed that the death toll from the earthquake has risen to 5,398.
