President in Charge of the Republc, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed that the primary objective of the Executive branch following the double earthquake is to guarantee the safety and assistance of those affected. To this end, authorities activated 46 temporary camps organized by family groups, which count with services of food, healthcare, toys, and spaces for sports.

The medical deployment includes the incorporation of international hospitals and permanent units of the public health system to conduct triage labors near the shelters. Additionally, teams of university psychologists and psychiatrists are providing emotional support to the traumatized children population, also supported by cultural programs from the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra System.

Finally, Rodríguez reported that each person in the camps is registered using fingerprint scanners to compile their medical history and identify their priority needs.
