«Up to now have been carried out more than 61,000 housing inspections,» reported the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during the handover of the Ana Victoria housing complex in La Guaira state.
Likewise, she indicated that all these inspections have been conducted based on the “traffic light” habitability assessment system. «As you know, this system has resulted in a green light for homes that can be inhabited, a yellow light for homes requiring repairs, and a red light for homes with structural damage. Some will be recoverable, most of them, while others will not be recoverable.»
Rodríguez assured that those persons currently living in camps will have their homes: «We are building, searching the secondary market, finding rental properties, and rehabilitating housing. It is an integral effort to provide support to those who lost their homes.»
The Head of State emphasized that they are working in an action coordinated with methodology, awareness, and technical expertise, to protect the people and support it through these difficult times. “La Guaira will be reborn, and we are seeing it, we see it in its children and in its people.”
