Within the framework of the continuous monitoring of assistance and infrastructure efforts, authorities presented the Weekly Information Bulletin of the Venezuela Renace (Venezuela Reborn) Plan this Monday, corresponding to the Reconstruction Phase.
This latest report highlights an increase in the number of housing delivered, with a total of 335 families now settled in new homes. Similarly, inspection teams reported a substantial increase in the status of assessed housings, reaching 60,785 inspections nationwide. Within this assessment is specified the following:
– 35,545 homes have been declared habitable.
– 14,239 homes have a restricted use status.
– 11,001 homes remain in a high-risk condition.
Regarding the clearing of affected areas and the preparation of the terrain, the deployed crews and machinery have collected 600,790.70 tons of debris, representing 28.61% progress in the cleanup efforts.
Healthcare and Rescue:
Meanwhile, the health system and risk management agencies remain active, providing assistance to the population:
A total of 226,696 people have received care in hospitals and designated health centers.
Rescue teams have registered 6,462 people rescued to date.
Likewise, the official report confirms the tragic figure of 6,509 people deceased as a result of the disaster.
Authorities reiterated that the plan will maintain its permanent deployment to expedite the delivery of housing solutions and the removal of debris in the affected communities.
