It is expected for the coming days to conduct a major national consultation to hear from those who will benefit from and are involved in the application of the Amnesty Law.
This information was released by Congressman and president of the commission monitoring this legislation, Jorge Arreaza, who emphasized that this consultation will allow to create effective mechanisms to improve the Venezuelan system of justice.
He reminded that some of those involved in the legal processes were detained in incidents that happened after situations of political violence in the country, which is why he called for resolving differences within the framework of the Constitution.
In this regard, he stressed the need to eliminate polarization in order to achieve national unity and maintain the peace of the nation. Arreaza stated that if anyone benefiting from the Amnesty Law commits a new crime, they will face the full force of the law.
