A new flight of the Great Mission Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) landed at the Division General José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport in Barcelona city (Anzoategui State), carrying 192 Venezuelan men and women from the United States.
The group of passengers arriving on flight number 167 consisted of 164 men, 27 women, and one minor. «They were received with the best professional protocol for comprehensive protection until bringing them to their homes,» expressed Mervin Maldonado, president of the Great Mission Vuelta a la Patria, via his digital platforms.
«For them, this is a great new opportunity to continue their education, contribute to society, and be happy with their families, at home, with their loved ones,» he referrred.
The welcome was provided by officials from various citizen security agencies, including the Scientific, Criminal and Forensic Investigations Corps (CICPC), the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), and the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), among others.
It is important to note that since the resumption of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland Plan) last February, more than 16,000 Venezuelans have returned to the country as part of the Venezuelan State’s efforts.
