The General Secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stated during the 585th episode of his “Con el Mazo Dando”(Hitting with the Hammer) program, that the country is capable of overcoming difficulties thanks to the constant and organized efforts of the Venezuelan people. The leader highlighted that the citizenry is firmly committed to peace as a guarantee for development and social well-being.
During his intervention, the authority rejected actions promoted by extremist sectors against the stability of the State, emphasizing that public tranquility is essential for the continuation of productive activities throughout the country. In this regard, he maintained that the vast majority of the nation rejects political confrontation and instead fosters initiatives aimed at economic recovery.
Likewise, the host of the television program dismissed a smear campaign that emerged following the participation of President Delcy Rodríguez in a summit of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
In response to criticisms from extremist circles regarding how the Dignitary was received, Cabello refuted these claims by clarifying that she was atended with the corresponding diplomatic protocol by the multilateral organization, remarking that “these discredited, hack journalists can’t get anything right.”
