The Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that the country has an action plan for this year, called the “Admirable Challenge 2026” Plan, developed by the Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
She insisted on that the hope of the Venezuelan people must remain strong, which “should not be extinguished by anything nor anyone.”
She reiterated that since December, Venezuela has suffered significant attacks that seek to limit its possibilities as an energy-exporting country, of having free trade relations with the world.
In this view, the Acting President emphasized that she remains at the forefront to defend the Venezuelan people and the Bolivarian Revolution.
She also called for national unity and took the opportunity to criticize those sectors that submit to foreign interests: “It doesn’t matter what political side you are in. We must stand together, as Venezuelan men and women, to defend our sovereignty, our independence, our territorial integrity, and also our dignity and our honor,” she affirmed, inviting the national opposition to follow the path of democracy and understanding to achieve peace.
“Enough of political classes that usurp the exercise of politics to surrender to the orders of Washington. Thus I say to you, I, whom history has placed in this position of responsibility during one of the most difficult times to preserve the peace of our Homeland,” she asserted, in reference to the recent imperial armed aggressions against the country that happened on January 3.
Finally, she recalled the words of the Liberator Simón Bolívar: “Peace will be my haven, my glory, my reward, my hope, my happiness, and everything that is precious in the world.” She detailed that this phrase is etched in her soul and guaranteed that she will fight to preserve the stability of the Republic, calling on the people to accompany her on this path.
