In order to advance in different strategic areas for the strengthening of the Fourth Transformation of the 7Ts Plan, as instructed by President Nicolás Maduro, the Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held an important work meeting this Tuesday at the Miraflores Palace Complex with the team of the country’s health sector.
It is important to highlight that the Bolivarian Government has made significant advances in the development of ancestral medicine, which reflects a growing interest in traditional health practices.
It is important to note that on January 8, the Acting President proposed to the new directorate of the National Assembly for the 2026-2031 term a set of laws for the advancement and integral development of the Nation, which includes within the legal framework the “Natural Medicine Law” that will allow to regulate the practices and products of ancestral and traditional medicine.
With this is raised to integrate them into the health system under State standards, which will contribute significantly to the 4th Transformation, which establishes the recovery and expansion of social protection and the rights of the people.
At this meeting, the Acting President was accompanied by the Minister of People’s Power for the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management, Captain Juan Escalona; Magaly Gutiérrez, Minister of People’s Power for Health; Anabel Pereira, Minister of People’s Power for Economy and Finances, and the Vice President of International Trade and Supply of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA); and Ligia Gorriño, President of the Venezuelan Foreign Trade Corporation (Corpovex).
