Venezuela’s Chargé d’Affaires in the U.S., Johann Álvarez Márquez, expressed the country’s full readiness to facilitate a rapprochement between Venezuela and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
Following a meeting with José Manuel Soto, Executive Director for Venezuela at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Álvarez Márquez expressed the full commitment to facilitate the rapprochment processes between Venezuela and the IDB, in order to restore financing for our country.
Likewise, he manifested that the diplomatic mission stands ready to support any efforts aimed at advancing this objective.
The multilateral organization reopened this month its office in Caracas to promote a new phase of international cooperation, an initiative championed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.
