National Assembly received workers marching for peace

On Tuesday, the National Assembly (AN) received the Venezuelan workforce that had mobilized for the «Great Workers’ March for Peace,» which was held from La Candelaria Square to the corner of San Francisco (downtown Caracas).

The First Vice President of the AN, Deputy Pedro Infante (PSUV/Miranda)—accompanied by a group of lawmakers and state officials—received a document from worker representatives. The document expressed support for the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and advocated for dialogue, democratic coexistence, and the lifting of sanctions.

During the delivery, representatives from unions and various labor confederations stated that the submitted text ratifies the working class’s absolute support for the nation’s political stability and socioeconomic development.

In the document is also demanded an immediate end to the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the country, which directly undermine family well-being and the national economy.

The organized workforce manifested the urgency of maintaining popular unity in order to safeguard public tranquility and boost productivity within the State’s strategic industries.

Parliamentarian Pedro Infante valued the mobilization as an act of sovereignty and political maturity.
