Within the framework of the 81st sessions term of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, the delegation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, led by President Delcy Rodríguez, arrives in New York City to deploy an agenda centered on the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, the defense of sovereignty, and the consolidation of multilateralism.
The presence of this high-level delegation projects a firm, active, and constructive foreign policy, arriving at the international gathering backed by macroeconomic indicators of recovery.
According to projections presented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Venezuela estimates a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of nearly 7.4% for this period, driven by a robust expansion of the non-oil sector exceeding 6.9%.
This technical validation by multilateral bodies demonstrates the effectiveness of the productive diversification model and reaffirms that international dialogue and adherence to the UN Charter generate alliances of mutual benefit and tangible results for the nation.
Strategic Evolution of Bilateral Cooperation:
The relationship between the Bolivarian Government and the United Nations system has evolved from addressing immediate emergency needs to a model of large-scale strategic cooperation. This junction focuses on three fundamental pillars: sustainable development, technology transfer, and armoring the social protection system of the Venezuelan people.
This synergy was consolidated after the institutional and technical response to the recent seismic contingency registered in the country. Through the scientific and logistical effort coordinated between national authorities and the team led by UN Resident Coordinator Gianluca Rampolla, were structured key strategies for the recovery of housings for the affected communities.

As part of this «Peace Diplomacy» roadmap, the National Executive held key meetings with UNDP Regional Director Michelle Muschett, making progress on the presentation of the Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA). This internationally recognized methodology allows for the precise quantification of the socioeconomic impact of the emergency to direct public investment towards the reconstruction of infrastructure under standards of resilience and environmental sustainability.
