President Delcy Rodríguez: Venezuela enters a new stage of energy exploration

Following the signing of energy agreements held at Miraflores Palace in Caracas, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, along with the United States Secretary of Energy, Christopher Wright, announced that the country has entered a new stage of exploration for new fields and new opportunities for Venezuela:

«This is a historic day because of the convergence of these agreements and because of their content for the development of green spaces,» expressed the national dignitary.

In this regard, she mentioned that Venezuela has not developed green spaces for decades: «And we are doing so hand in hand with allies (…) together with major international companies to develop the hydrocarbon industry in Venezuela for the benefit of the Venezuelan people.»

The Head of State emphasized that Venezuela has highly skilled workers in the hydrocarbon industry, ready to receive these investments, as well as companies and industries fully prepared to begin operations.

“We will give a welcome to these investments, to this flow of capital, to the technology, to capital goods that will contribute to Venezuela’s development,” the president emphasized.

Likewise, she expressed her expectation that the Venezuelan hydrocarbon sector will continue to be an outstanding exporter to reach the United States, Europe, and other countries around the world.
