President Delcy Rodríguez ratified this Monday her commitment to all families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24:
«Where there was damage, today there is a response,» emphasized the national dignitary via her official Telegram channel, after handing over 48 new apartments in the Simón Bolívar Sector of the Ciudad Tiuna Housing Complex in Caracas.
In her message, the Head of State stressed that the emergency does not end when the earthquake passes: «Our response continues until every family has a safe home. We are advancing with the construction of new housings and the rehabilitation of those that were damaged,» she stated.
She emphasized that the National Government’s commitment goes beyond simply handing over properties: «It’s not just about the housing; it’s about who it benefits, a mother, a father, a child, a grandfather, a grandmother.»
Finally, she reiterated that the goal of the Venezuela Renace (Venezuela Reborn) plan is to deliver at least 4,000 homes by the end of 2026 and rebuild 13,000 affected households, actions that will assist approximately 66,000 Venezuelans.
