The Chief of Staff for Temporary Camps, Jorge Rodríguez, presented this Monday, August 17, 2026 the Weekly Information Bulletin for the reconstruction phase of the Venezuela Renace (Venezuela Reborn) Plan, highlighting that the program has reached a total of 335 homes delivered to families throughout the national territory.
According to information provided by the government authority, the operational teams have made significant progress in environmental cleanup and infrastructure, after having completed the collection of 528,222.30 tons of debris, a figure that represents 25.15% of the estimated target for the area.
Within the framework of the constant housing assessment, the official technical report shows the evaluation of 59,109 homes nationwide, categorized under the following structure:
– 34,680 homes have been declared habitable.
– 13,733 homes remain under condition of restricted access.
– 10,696 homes are classified into the high-risk category.
In matters of assistance and protection for the affected population, Rodríguez reported that the national hospital system has treated 86,358 people, while search and rescue teams have rescued 6,462 citizens alive.
Finally, the bulletin presented by the authorities places the cumulative figure of deceases at 6,438.
