President Delcy Rodríguez reiterates efforts to recover Venezuelan gold retained in England

President Delcy Rodríguez reiterated last Friday that the National Government is working jointly with representatives of an opposition sector from the 2015 National Assembly to recover Venezuelan gold retained in England, with the aim of allocating it to aid the zones affected by the double earthquake registered on June 24.

The Head of State offered the remarks during an inspection of the MetalBlanc metallurgical company facilities in the Sucre parish of Caracas, where she praised the agreements reached in the first stage of the national dialogue.

“Agreements were reached there where we will work together to recover the gold that is in England, which belongs to the Venezuelans, and so that we can use that gold for the recovery and reconstruction of the areas impacted by the seismic doublet, for the recovery of Venezuela,” stated Rodríguez.

Likewise, the dignitary noted that at the meetings was made a pact on work lines aimed at transforming the Venezuelan judicial system to improve the access of the citizens to justice.

«We also reached agreements for a transformation process, as I requested at the beginning of the year, of justice in Venezuela—a true justice, a justice where citizens can access it without any kind of disruption, corruption, extortion, or bureaucracy,» she concluded.
