National Government projects completion of more than 10,000 housings by 2027

In a sustained effort to transform the country’s housing infrastructure, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that the care plan for those who resulted homeless in La Guaira will be extended with an ambitious goal for next year.

The President assured that «we are going to go much further so that next year we reach a figure of more than 10,000 housings,» thus providing definitive housing solutions.

During the handover of the first homes in the «Ciudad Tiuna» housing complex, the President emphasized the importance of maintaining hope and calm while the works are underway: «We are working tirelessly, providing integral care to the temporary camps. Those who are in temporary camps should be certain that they will soon have a home, they will soon have a housing,» she stated to the families who had their housings adjudicated this Monday.

The National Government’s action plan also includes the inspection of buildings that are still pending, not only in Caracas, but also in other states across the country.

Rodríguez sent a message of encouragement to all those affected, guaranteeing that the work will continue uninterrupted until every family that is currently in temporary camps receives the keys to their new home.
