President Rodríguez announces creation of single registry for housing with fingerprint scanner and fund for condominium associations

The president announced that this Saturday started the census for the single registry for housings in a progressive manner in all temporary shelters. The sectoral data collection process will employ a fingerprint scanning system to ensure the order of the files.

The announcement was made during a meeting she led along with members of the General Staff for temporary camps and housing projects, and with the Presidential Commission on Habitability, in order to coordinate the integral approach to those citizens who lost their homes after the earthquakes of June 24.

Likewise, the national Executive approved the creation of a special economic fund within the Venezuela Renace (Venezuela Reborn) Plan. These financial resources will be directed to subsidize and directly support condominium associations in the works of structural repair of those civil buildings that suffered severe damage from the double earthquake.

Rodríguez also announced that public and private banking institutions are finalizing details to activate a mortgage loan program with subsidies of up to 80% for those affected. Additionally, will be established socio-productive projects and areas for agricultural and service-based entrepreneurship within the camps themselves.

Currently, state brigades intervene on a total of 8,515 housings distributed across 187 multi-family buildings through the Venezuela Renace Plan. These civil works prioritize structures classified as having moderate damage under the yellow alert level, expediting the safe and orderly return of families to their residences.
