108 temporary camps are installed in four states of the country

The Sectoral Vice President for Social and Territorial Development, Héctor Rodríguez, offered this Sunday an updated report on the services provided at the temporary camps, and highlighted that the country currently has 108 camps to address the housing needs of people who lost their homes due to the earthquakes registered in the country, with a total installed capacity of 25,087 beds, where have been accommodated 19,583 people.

In the city of Caracas, up to now 41 temporary camps are enabled, with a capacity of 11,172 available beds, and in which assistance is provided to a total of 6,429 people.

In La Guaira are registered 28 camps in operation, of which six are under the process of expansion, to accommodate a total of 10,908 people.

While in Miranda state, there are 29 camps, the logistical infrastructure of this state have an installed capacity of 3,760 available spaces, which are currently occupied by a group of 1,696 people.

Lastly, in Aragua state were enabled 10 temporary camps with an installed capacity of 550 spaces, providing care for the same number of people.
