«I have decided to create the Great Mission Venezuela Reborn (Venezuela Renace), which will encompass missions Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor, and will also include Juntos Todo es Posible and Venezuela Bella,» announced the President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, who clarified that this initiative will focus on rebuilding housings damaged by the earthquakes.
To this end, she assured that her office has established contact with the nation’s public and private banks to activate mortgage lending with up to 80% subsidies. Likewise, she indicated that all taxes related to property registrations, rentals, and purchases will be waived.
In the area of commerce, she decreed a ban on the export of construction materials: «Venezuela is entering a process of infrastructure and housing recovery, there is the Presidential Commission actively verifying, home by home, whether the dwelling is habitable.»
«In the case of housings that need to be repaired, was activated the financing fund through the banks for purchase and repair,» she detailed.
