Attorney General Larry Devoe Márquez was apointed as President of the Republican Moral Council

The Attorney General of the Republic, Larry Devoe Márquez, was officially appointed to serve as president of the Republican Moral Council for the 2026-2027 legislative period.

The election was carried out by unanimous consensus during a formal ceremony held at the headquarters of the Citizen Power in Caracas, strictly adhering to the mandates enshrined in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Organic Law of the Citizen Power.

The event was attended by the highest representatives of the bodies that comprise this branch of the national public sector, thus consolidating the institutional balance of the State.

At the appointment session were present the Comptroller General of the Republic, Gustavo Vizcaíno, the Ombudsman, Eglée González Lobato, and the Executive Secretary of the Republican Moral Council, Milagros Salcedo.

The new management plan will focus primarily on preventing, investigating, and sanctioning any act that violates public ethics and administrative morality, also guaranteeing the integral protection of human rights, the proper use of the State’s assets, and the promotion of civic values ​​throughout the entire Venezuelan territory.
