The President in Charge of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, met this Monday with the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during her visit to that Eurasian nation.
The meeting, which had as its purpose to strengthen ties of friendship, solidarity, and strategic cooperation between the two countries, opens a new space for high-level direct dialogue. This forum is designed to further promote mutual integral development and consolidate bilateral relations.
Previously, the president in charge held a meeting with a delegation from the government of Türkiye, headed by the Minister for Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar.
The Head of State in Charge arrived on Sunday, June 7, at Istanbul International Airport, after completing a schedule of events in India. The presidential delegation was received with full protocol honors by an official delegation from the Turkish government.
Both nations maintain a robust cooperation agenda encompassing strategic sectors such as trade, investment, energy, mining, housing, and education, as well as strengthening in the area of air connectivity, a fundamental axis that has facilitated the flow of transportation and tourism between the two countries.
With this meeting, the President in Charge of the Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, concludes her work visit to Türkiye.
