Authorities of the venezuelan aviation sector held an institutional meeting with representatives of the International Council of Airports for Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) to raise connectivity standards, optimize physical infrastructure, and strengthen operational safety systems at the country’s terminals.
During the development of the meeting, the ACI-LAC delegation presented its objectives focused on the growth and sustainable development of airports in the region in an integrated manner. Likewise, the technical teams from both organizations assessed the feasibility of implementing specialized training programs and international certification for the Venezuelan technical personnel.
According to the official report from the Ministry for Transportation (MPPT), this initiative is part of an international agenda that seeks the technological modernization of the nation’s main air terminals, and along with the directives of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC), Bolivariana de Aeropuertos (BAER) and the Autonomous Institute of Maiquetía International Airport (IAIM), these strategic agreements aim to consolidate a safe, modern and efficient public transport system.
