Jorge Rodríguez, President of the National Assembly: National Pilgrimage seeks to connect with the “Deepest Venezuela”

The President of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, stated this Thursday, May 28, that the National Pilgrimage is focused on connecting with Venezuelans, not only from the country’s main cities, but also from the most remote areas, in order to understand the reality of the people in a close manner.

“This pilgrimage is about this: To see in the depths of Venezuela, in the catacombs. There is a bad habit that we must end, that we must eradicate, which is the bad habit of going to the capital cities where we have already been so often. We must come here to Achaguas, we must go to Mantecal, we must go to Biruaca; we must delve into the depths of this land and see each other face to face,” he expressed.

During a meeting with agricultural producer communes in Apure state, Rodríguez assured that this initiative of President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez is not only about talking, but also about listening to the people from their experience and resistance in the face of difficulties.
