The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela led this Thursday an International Virtual Meeting to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the Declaration of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace. The event, focused on strengthening the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, served as a platform for Chancellor Yván Gil to highlight the need to maintain a region united and free from foreign interference that seeks to destabilize the countries of CELAC.
During the meeting, a call was made to use dialogue and mutual cooperation as the only means to resolve differences, reaffirming respect for the International Law.
The participating authorities concluded that protecting sovereignty against current geopolitical pressures is fundamental to ensuring that peace remains being an inalienable right and the motor of well-being throughout the entire continent.
